She's never in a scurry
alone, thoughts hurry
idealist, never in order
he enlarges his border
the heart begins to worry
rather suffer lashings
knowing his dashing's
knowing He can repair
learning to id despair
dreams of gnashing's
always in sterile, white room
cultures imaginary gloom
quietly opens & closes doors
memory of floral moors
dreams of gnashing's

Give Me The Key

transference almost
asking for the key
borders the coast
why, no one can see
this one is for me
transference almost
asking for the key
oh, sea is all we see
really, did not, you see
this one is for me
transference almost,
asking for the key
Artwork by Brooke Shaden

Knocking (with a small h)
he keeps on knocking
he wants to come in...
her heart still blocking
no matter, what past, sin
she gets no glare, a stare
love in her heart was stolen
by one who does not care
swim and swims the ocean
faster and faster, drown
reaching, her heart taken
closes all doors, all 'lown
still numb, stoic, forsaken
he keeps on knocking
he wants to come in...
her heart still locking
no matter, what past, sin
knowing, your tall thin
stays in waiting, alone
in her mind, how's he been
prays his heart of stone
would relight their cords
with hers, living with
fingernails on boards
rough edges and pith
wanting him back, see
still, waiting by the sea
thinking about you and me
see she now is the 'lown.

Life Is Not..Sorry
Coming to see, and maybe to be,
Liking what I see, seems right to me.
Slim, trim as a tree, green as a pea,
Why he likes brie, even pretends
to like my art and poetry; wine,
and thinks I am stunning, it was
all for a muse. Thought a cause
good; to return to humanity to be
if only maybe, someone to love me?
obtuse it was so hid and sublime.
A year flew by and it was exhausting.
no time to show what I want is pleasing
to me. Just all the how to-s, his teasing.
Seems his maturity is still in schooling.
Just settle for everything seeming fine;
to my surprise and I could not even see:
let me say a lot more was in my head, gee.
Throughout this ordeal I was the greenly.
Just a game is what I was a last minute tea.
It was serious for me! To try one last time.
How could he know, to be one of the boys
you hurt the woman, treat them like toys.
All the while his controls were only ploys.
Almost; all out I went, now spent, my joys.
Stunning poet, left numb, should be a crime.

Not really Shoes
You are indeed one of my fav'e,
Worn, I know, cure my blues.
Like at first site so to say.
Plain and comfortable, zips
Very tall, just a lot like me.
Just like my man, tall pips.
Worry totally out of my tree.
Should have bought two pair!
The mileage has me burdened.
Wonderful leather, people stare.
Knowing gray hairs have returned.
Hoping to find you soon, again
Every time you are worn thinner.
Smooth leather best, cow grain!
Greatest, got to find the winner!
Once a week, you get your turn.
May have been a sweet gift.
The sweetest at marvel bargain.
When you run out, I'll be in twist.
Just a plain jest, about tall me.
Soon I will have to again buy!
We have travelled the country.
Now the price four times, high!

Romancing Stone
Chivalrous heroes jaunt,
occultist Virgil
Aeneid’s title haunt.
Naked cleansing with strigil,
this queen’s passions daunt.
Blooming renewal, regenerations
greenery and nestings continue.
Rebellions, birthing new nations.
Her prospects continue to ensue;
several end in stagnations.
As she aches for her king, spent
unable to be moved; rainy season
passion wanes with lament.
Confides with her sister of reason,
this queen wants it all, ‘Clark Kent’,
‘total package’ no consorts! Screech!
Is it possible, just slow paces, like an
exotic novel just out of her reach!
Illusive lover, form him, His plan
wings of angels, Song of Songs, speech,
praying for her admirer.
Begin Dog Days, met ardor
possible suitor, respectful enquirer.
His preoccupation, modernize his Tudor,
Seeking companion, from his decipher.
This suitor melts her indifferent stone.
‘Not Quite Her Old Love’, she sits ashore,
‘Friendship, Temperate, Wetlands’, intone.
Away he goes, she hears never more…
Dozens of suitors, stroll to woo in Arctic zone.
‘Stunning’, his word upon their departure!
Motionless, frozen in sidereal, final news.
“You are the only redeeming feature,
of my exploits,” he pens. Further, he woos,
“I would like to see you again.” Pure
honest desire for the raconteur,
‘a naturally beautiful woman,’ in fall.
Ahh! Shem Creek, beauty, God’s grandeur!
Football, fireworks…’one moment’ tops them all!
Sunsets of tangerines in puddles; in September.
The queen, the lady will submit; to her new king,
wonderful nightfall, music plays, gingerly
Dear Heart with ‘One Deciding Kiss’ melts, pulsing
heart to flesh and butterscotch. Tenderly
taming, his queen’s passion to lady with covering.

Virgil ancient writer: 70–19 E.B.C.
Aeneid ; Writing from Virgil considered to be used
by some occultist as a bible of sorts.
Clark Kent is a movie characters name in Superman.
Song of Songs is a Book in Christian bible.
Dog Days refer to August in summer.

Out of Time!
Sharon Rose T. ©
Time and time again,
One’s shift passes,
‘Buckets’ still full!
Unfulfilled dreams,
One’s shift passes,
Limits aged body.
Time and time again,
One’s shift passes,
Suddenly present.
Fragile timid fear,
One’s shift passes,
Importance is left.
Time and time again,
One’s shift passes,
Out of sorts and wants.
Weary empty line,
One’s shift passes,
Wake up! Wake Up!
Time and time again,
One’s shift passes,
Do it! Do it! Now!
Empty your ‘bucket’,
One’s shift passes,
Run to it! Run to it!
Time and time again,
One’s shift passes,
Adventuring today.
Time and time again,
One’s shift passes,
‘Buckets’ still full!
